Cap. 256) RUBBER REPLANTING SUBSIDY (AMENDMENT) CHAPTER 256 RUBBER REPLANTING SUBSIDY (AMENDMENT) Act AN ACT ro AMEND THE RUBBER REPLANTING SUBSIDY ACT. No. 10 of 1983. Short title. Amendment of section 7 of Chapter 256. [§ 2, 10 of 1983.1 [Act No. JO of 1983-Commencement-/0th February, 1983 ; Operation-1st April, 1983.] I . This Act may be cited as the Rubber Replanting Subsidy (Amendment) Act. 2. Section 7 of the Rubber Replanting Subsidy Act is hereby amended (a) by the substitution for subsections (1), (2) and (3) of that section, the following subsections : " ( 1) There shall be charged, levied and paid an export duty as may be determined by a resolution of Parliament for every kilogramme of sheet rubber, exported from Sri Lanka. (2) There shall be charged, levied and paid an export duty as may be determined by a resolution of Parliament for every kilogramme of scrap crepe rubber exported from Sri Lanka. (3) There shall be charged, levied and paid an export duty as may be determined by a resolution of Parliament for every kilogramme of crepe rubber exported from Sri Lanka. " ; (b) by the omission of subsection (5) of that section. (S) I/ 138
