This Act may be cited as the Butchers (Amendment) Act. 2. Section 20 of the Butchers Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the "principal enactment"), is hereby amended, by the substitution, for the words .. not exceeding fifty rupees, and in default of payment to imprisonment, either rigorous or simple, for a term not exceeding three calendar months.", of the following : " not exceeding two hundred rupees or to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding six months, or to both such fine and imprisonment. ". 3. Section 24 of the principal enactment is Amendment of hereby amended in subsection (1) of that sectio~ 2~ of section, ?y the substitution, for the words "not ~h~~~el exceedmg one hundred rupees, or to [I 3,60of imprisonment of either description for a term 1981.] not exceeding six months.", of the following : " not exceeding three hundred rupees or to imprisonment of either description for a term not exceeding two years, or to both such fine and imprisonment.
