February 16, 2022. SAINT LUCIA ___________ No. 6 of 2022 AN ACT to amend the Distribution and Price of Goods Act, Cap. 13.09. [ 21st February, 2022 ] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the House of Assembly and the Senate of Saint Lucia, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 36 No. 6] Distribution and Price of Goods [ 2022 (Amendment) Act Short title
1. This Act may be cited as the Distribution and Price of Goods (Amendment) Act, 2021. Amendment of section 2
2. Section 2 of the Distribution and Price of Goods Act, Cap. 13.09 is amended by — (a) deleting the definition of “authorized officer” and by substituting the following — ““authorized officer” means — (a) the Chief Complaints and Investigations Officer; or (b) a Complaints and Investigations Officer or Assistant;”; (b) inserting the following definition in the correct alphabetical sequence — ““Chief Complaints and Investigations Officer” means a person appointed by the Public Service Commission to supervise the Complaints and Investigations Officers and Assistants and the investigation of consumer complaints;”.
