Both parties have agreed to enter this Contract on the Management and 1..]5';; of I .and a" follows: The District Agriculture-Forestry Office, hereinafter called the State. The-farmerfamily hereinafter called the Applicant for the right to manage and use land. Both parties have agreed to manage and use land as follows: Article 1 : The State acknowledges the applicant's right to manage and use of the said land in accordance with the laws and regulations on the management and USc of land and forest land. Article 2: TIle State shall control the use of each piece of land every year. and the applicant shall use the land in accordance with the following land use and recommendations : 0-=-:12="degrees: "use target : sedentary, short term fruit trees, fisheries in conjunction with preservation. 12- 25 degrees: use target: fruit trees, livestock and commercial value trees in conjunction with preservation. 25 - 36 degrees: use target: commercial value trees and crops in conjunction with preservation.. 36 - 45 degrees: use target: protected forests and crops in conjunction with preservation. " 46 degrees and above : use target: protected forests and preservation. Article 3 : The applicant for the contracted management and use of land shall cvery year.undertake production in one or two pieces ofland and preservation according to the attached recommendations. Article 4: The land managing and using party shall clear the land within the "measured and provided area. Article 5 : Ifthe land managing and using party fails to perform as provided in Article 2~ 3 and 4, the District Agriculture-Forestry Office shall fine him asfollows : !st offense: a fine of 5,000 kips. 2nd offense: a [me of 10,000 kips 3rdoffense:a fine of 15,000 kips and the retrieval ofthe land " management and usc right.
