Governmental Resolution No. 76 “On establishment of Sarychat-Ertash state national park”

THE GOVERNMENT OF THE KYRGHYZ REPUBLIC RESOLUTION House of Government, Bishkek March, 10, 1995, # 76 On establishment of Sarychat • Ertash state national park In order to preserve unique natural complexes, rare and threatened species and varieties in syrt zone of Issyk-Kul oblast and for maintenance of ecological balance in the region, the Government of the Kyrghyz Republic decrees: I. To accept proposals of Issyk-Kul oblast administration, State Committee of the Kyrghyz Republic on Nature Protection, National Academy of Sciences, agreed with MAWR of the Kyrghyz Republic, Ministry of Finance of the Kyrghyz Republic on establishment of Sarychat-Ertash State national park on lands of State Land Reserve in Djety-Oguz raion, on area of 72080 ha-in accordance with Appendix 1 and 2. To leave 13495 ha of state national park lands at the disposal of "Ak-Terek" sovkhoz and agricultural cooperative "Dostuk" to be used as pastures with following of the regime of the national park. 2. Issyk-Kul oblast administration shall identify borders of Sarychat-Ertash State national park and issue State Act on Land Use. 3. Ministry of Finance of the Kyrghyz Republic to assign necessary funds to State Committee of the Kyrghyz Republic on Nature Protection for maintenance of Sarychat-Ertash State national park. 4. State Committee of the Kyrghyz Republic on Economics to envisage allocation of funds for design and construction of objects of Sarychat-Ertash State national park when formulate plan - forecast for 1995 - 1996. 5. State Committee of the Kyrghyz Republic on Nature Protection to approve Regulations and list of the stuffof Sarychat-Ertash State national park. Prime Minister A. Border in the East - administrative border of Djety-Oguz and Ak-Sui raion from hills of Terskei Ala - Too south - eastwards along rivers Ertash and Kuilya, further turns to south - western direction to nameless hill (4303 ID. a. s. 1.) and goes down to valley of Ertash river - its tributary river Kurga - Tepchu. Border in the South - estuary of Kurga ~ Tepchu river upstream, then turns westwards, goes to glacier named after Petrov (3983 m. a. s. l.jand further in the direction of estuary of Sarychat river.
