Governmental Resolution No. 260 validating the list of produce subject to compulsory certification for product safety

House of the Government 28 April, 1994, 1260 RESOLUTION of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic ON ADOPTION OF THE LIST OF GOODS (WORKS AND SERVICES), PRODUCED ON THE TERRlTO}tY Oft THE B..'YRGYZ REPUBLIC AND IMPORTED TO ITS TERRITORY, WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO CERTIFICAnON ON THE INDICATORS OF SAFETY In order to protect the consumer from the use of the purchased goods (works and services), which are potentially dangerous to the life, health or property of the citizens, as well as to the environment, in accordance with the Law ofthe Kyrgyz Republic "On protection of the rights of the consumers", the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic is resolving: I. To adopt the List of the goods (works and services), produced in the Kyrgyz Republic and imported to its territory. which are subject to obligatory certification on the safety indicators (attached). To put into effect from 15 May 1994 the first stage of the List attached. 2. To establish, that the sale of the goods given in the List, on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic by the citizens and legal entities, irrespective of fOnTIS of ownership, is allowed only when there is the certificate ofaccordance of the established form. 3. State Inspectorate on Standardization and Metrology under the Government ofthc Kyrgyz Republic shall: carry out the implementation of the second and third stages of the List attached in agreement with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, taking into account providing of the conditions of carrying out the works on certification of the certain types ofgoods on the basis of the proposals of the Ministry ofTrade, Material Resources and Trade of the K~TgyZ Republic, Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture and.Food of the Kyrgyz Republic; provide co-operation with the relevant authorized bodies ofother countries and international agencies on the issues of standardization on the basis of the established order: publish in the press the List of the goods (works and services) produced on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and imported to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, which are subject to obligatory certification in the Kyrgyz Republic; inform on the regularly basis the consumers about the poor quality and potentially dangerous goods. 4. State Customs Inspectorate under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in conjunction with the Ministry ofHealth of the Kyrgyz Republic. Ministry of Industry. Material Resources and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic, State Inspectorate on Standardization and Metrology under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic before 15 May ]994 shall determine the procedure ofimportofgoods to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, which are subject to obligatory certification (in accordance with the List attached) in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On protection of the rights of consumers" and the Law ofthe Kyrgyz Republic "On sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population of the Kyrgyz Republic". 5. Control over the implementation of this Resolution shall be carried out by the heads of the local authorities, State Inspectorate on Standardization and Metrology under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, State Customs Inspectorate under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry ofIndustry, Mineral Resources and Trade ofthe Kyrgyz Republic.
