Kenya Gazette Supplement No. 70 (Legislative Supplement No. 46) 297 5th November, 2004 LEGAL NOTICE No. 122 THE WEIGHTS AND MEASURES ACT (Cap. 513) IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 34 of the Weights and Measures Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Rules: THE WEIGHTS AND MEASURES (SALE AND LABELLING OF GOODS) (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2004 1. These Rules may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Sale and Labelling of Goods) (Amendment) Rules, 2004. 2. The Weights and Measures (Sale and Labelling of Goods.) Rules are amended in the Sixth Schedule by (a) deleting the heading of the third column and substituting thereof the following heading "Quantity when packed in sealed rigid containers made of glass, plastic and metal", (b) deleting the heading of the fourth column and substituting thereof the following heading "Quantity when packed in containers made of materials other than those specified in the third column". (c) inserting the following item immediately before item 1 and renumbering the existing items accordingly (1) (2) (3) (4) 1 Alcoholic 250 ml., 300 ml., 330 beverages for ml., 340 ml., 355 ml., retail sale 500 ml., 750 ml., litre (d) inserting the figures "15 kg., 20 kg., 25 kg." immediately after the figure"10 kg:' in item 18 of the fourth column.
