Environmental (Impact Assessment and Audit) (Amendment) Regulations, 2007 (L.N. No. 133 of 2007)

LEGAL NOTICE No. 133 THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION ACT (No. 8 of 1999) IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 147 of the Environmental Management and Coordination Act, 1999, the Minister for Environment and Natural Resources makes the following Regulations – THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (IMPACT ASSESSEMENT AND AUDIT) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 2007. 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Management (Impact Assessment and Audit) (Amendment) Regulations, 2007. Sub Leg 2. The Environmental (Impact Assessment and Audit) Regulations in these Regulations referred to as the “principal Regulations” are amended in regulation 8 by deleting the word “ten” and substituting the word “two” therefor. 3. The “principal Regulations” are amended by deleting regulation 15. 4. The First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting Form 6 and Form 7. 5. The Fifth Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by – (a) deleting item 1 and substituting therefor the following new item – “1. Application for registration as Environmental Impact Assessment/Audit* expert ….. Shs. 500” (b) deleting item 2.
