European Communities Legislation (Bluetongue) (Amendment of Regulations) (Jersey) Order 2016 Article 1 Page - 1 R&O.8/2016 EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES LEGISLATION (BLUETONGUE) (AMENDMENT OF REGULATIONS) (JERSEY) ORDER 2016 Made 25th January 2016 Coming into force 26th January 2016 THE MINISTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, in pursuance of Regulation 16 of the European Communities Legislation (Bluetongue) (Jersey) Regulations 20081, orders as follows – 1 Interpretation In these Regulations “principal Regulations” means the European Communities Legislation (Bluetongue) (Jersey) Regulations 20082. 2 Regulation 1 amended In Regulation 1 of the principal Regulations, after the definition “the Law” there is inserted the following definition – “ ‘live attenuated vaccines’ means vaccines which are produced by adapting bluetongue virus field isolates through serial passages in tissue culture or in embryonated hens’ eggs;”. 3 Regulation 7 amended In Regulation 7 of the principal Regulations, after the word “bluetongue” there are added the words “using live attenuated vaccines”.
