PAT RABBITTE, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources. EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) These Regulations amend the Wild Salmon and Sea Trout Tagging Scheme (No. 2) Regulations, 2010 ( S.I. No. 665 of 2010 ) to provide for the quota of fish that can be harvested in Castlemaine Harbour, Kerry fishery district. 1 If draft netting in the common estuary is allowed, the quotas for the Caragh, Laune and Maine have to be fixed for the common estuary and this quota is lower than a combination of the three individual river quotas because it is a mixed stock fishery and the lower amount is necessary to ensure meeting the 75% target. 2 If draft netting in the common estuary is allowed the quotas for the Erriff and Bundorragha have to be fixed for the common estuary and this quota is lower than a combination of the two individual river quotas because it is a mixed stock fishery and the lower amount is necessary to ensure meeting the 75% target. 3 If draft netting in the common estuary is allowed the quotas for the Owenduff and Owenmore have to be fixed for the common estuary and this quota is lower than a combination of the two individual river quotas because it is a mixed stock fishery and the lower amount is necessary to ensure meeting the 75% target. © Government of Ireland.
