No. 497 of 2012 EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (PESTICIDE RESIDUES) (AMENDMENT) (NO.2) REGULATIONS 2012 I, Simon Coveney, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving full effect to Commission Regu lation (EU) No 473/2012 of 4 June 20121, Commission Regulation (EU) No 556/2012 of 26 June 20122, Commission Regulation (EU) No 592/2012 of 4 July 20123 and Commission Regulation (EU) No 897/2012 of 1 October 20124, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2012. 2. The European Communities (Pesticide Residues) Regulations 2008 (S.I. No.565 of 2008) are amended in Regulation 2(1) by substituting for the defini tion of “Pesticide MRL Regulation”, (substituted by the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 (S.I.
