No. 254 of 2014 EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (MINIMUM CONDITIONS FOR EXAMINING VEGETABLE SPECIES) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2014 I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communi ties Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Implementing Directive 2013/57/EU of 20 November 20131, hereby make the following regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Minimum Conditions for Examining Vegetable Species) (Amendment) Regulations 2014. 2. The European Communities (Minimum Conditions for Examining of Veg etable Species) Regulations 2004 (S.I. No. 121 of 2004) are amended by substi tuting in Regulation 2 the definition of “Directive” for the following “‘Directive’ means Commission Directive No. 2003/91/EC of 6 October 20032 as amended by Commission Directive No. 2013/57/EU of 20 November 2013.”. 3. The European Communities (Minimum Conditions for Examining Veg etable Species)(Amendment) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 146 of 2013) are revoked. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 5 June 2014.
