No. 124 of 2008 EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (DEHYDRATED PRESERVED MILK) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2008 I, Mary Coughlan, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Directive 2001/114/EC of 20 December 20011, and Council Directive 2007/61/EC of 26 September 20072, hereby make the following Regulations: 1. These Regulations may be cited as European Communities (Dehydrated Preserved Milk) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 2. The European Communities (Dehydrated Preserved Milk) Regulations 2003 (S.I. No. 298 of 2003) are amended in Regulation 2(1), by substituting for the definition of “Directive”— “Directive” means Council Directive 2001/114/EC of 20 December 2001, and Council Directive 2007/61/EC of 26 September 2007.” GIVEN under my Official Seal, 30 April 2008 MARY COUGHLAN. They give legal effect to Directive 2007/61/EC providing for the standardisation of protein content of partly or wholly dehydrated milk, and should be read in conjunction with the Directive.
