No. 436 of 2013 EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES (AVIAN INFLUENZA) (CONTROL ON MOVEMENT OF PET BIRDS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2013 I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communi ties Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), for the purpose of giving further effect to Com mission Implementing Decision 2013/635/EU of 31 October 20131, hereby make the following regulations: 1.These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Movement of Pet Birds) (Amendment) Regulations 2013. 2. The European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Movement of Pet Birds) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 96 of 2007) are amended in Regulation 2(1) by substituting for the definition of “Commission Decision” (inserted by the European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Movement of Pet Birds) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 (S.I. 305 of 2012) the following “Commission Decision” means Commission Decision 2007/25/EC of 22 December 2006, Commission Decision 2010/734/EU of 30 November 2010, Commission Implementing Decision 2012/248/EU of 7 May 2012 and Com mission Implementing Decision 2013/635 of 31 October 2013”. 3. The European Communities (Avian Influenza) (Control on Movement of Pet Birds) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 (S.I. 305 of 2012) are revoked. GIVEN under my Official Seal, 13 November 2013.
