THE MINISTER OF FORESTRY, that on the basis of the Decree of the Minister of Forestry Number 38/KPTS-I1/1996 dated January 29, 1996 to PT MUSI HUT AN PERSADA has been granted the Timber Estate Forest Exploitation Right on an area with an extent of.± 296,400 (two hundred ninety six thousand four hundred) hectares which is located in the South Sumatera Province. b. that on March 2, 2000 a joint agreement has been reached between the Department of Forestry and Plantations, the Regional Administration of the South Sumatera Province, PT MUSI HUT AN PERSADA, and the Village Members ex Marga Rembang Kapak Tengah I, Rembang Lubai District, Muara Enim Regency, which in essence declares that the forest area with an extent of .± 12,050 11 (twelve thousand fifty) hectares as illustrated in the attachment to this Decree is removed from the area of the Timber Estate Forest Exploitation Right of PT MUSI HUT AN PERSADA to be delivered to the Regional Administration of the South Sumatera Province. c. that in connection with the matters mentioned above, it is considered necessary to amend the Decree oi the Minlster of ForesttV Number 38/K~ts-un 996 dated JanuaP/ 29, 1. 996 insofar as it concerns the extent of the area of the Timber Estate Forest Exploitation Right of PT MUSI HUTAN PERSADA, with a Decree of the Minister of Forestry and Plantations. Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 of 1990 in conjunction with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 41 of 1993 and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 67 of 1998 on the Imposition, 12 Collection, and Division of the Forest Yield Contribution; 15. Paying Attention to The Joint Agreement dated March 2, 2000 betwee-n the Department of Forestry and Plantations, the Regional Administration of the South Sumatera Province, PT MUSI HUTAN PERSADA, and Village Members e,c Marga Rambang Kapak Tengah I, Rambang Lubal District, Muara Enim Regency. To lay down HAS DECIDED : THE AMENDMENT TO THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FORESTRY NUM8ER 38/KPTS•lf/1996 ON TH! GRANTING OP TIMBER ESTATE FOREST EXPLOITATION RIGHT ON AN AREA WITH AN EXTENT OF .±. 296,400 (TWO HUNDRED NINETY $IX THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED) HECTARES WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE SOUTH SUMAT!RA PROVINCE TO PT MUSI HUTAN PERSADA. Article I 1. To change the extent of the working area of the Timber Estate Forest Exploitation Right of PT MUSJ HUTAN PERSADA which is mentioned In the Decree of the Minister of Forestry Number 38/ Kpts-11/1996 dated January 29, 1996 the Attachmeni to the Decree and the working area map, which was jnitlally : with an extent of .±. 296,400 (two hundred ninety six thousand four hundred) hectares; 12 becoro1: with an extent of .±. 284,360 (two hundred eighty four thousand three hundred fifty) hectares. 2, To add a new provision : The reduction of the area to an extent of .±. 12,050 {twelve thousand and fifty) hectares which management woufd subsequently be transferred to the Regional Administration of the South Sumatera Province constitutes a commitment of the Government to improve the prosperity of the community within and around the working area of PT MUSI HUTAN PERSADA in general and the Village Members ex Marga Rambang Kapak Tengah I. CAFI 57/JUL V 18, 2000 13 Article II 1. With the issuance of this Decree, the Decree of the Minister of Forestry Number 38/Kpts 11/1996 dated January 29, 1996 remains in force, insofar as no changes are made according to this Decree. 2.
