Decree No. 608/Kpts/Um/9/1976 on the delimitation of fishing lanes for vessels owned by state fishing entities

Minister of Agriculture's Decree N0608/Kpts/Um/9/1976 on The Delimitation of the Fishing L-nes for Vessels Owned by state Fishing Entities The Minister of Agriculture Considering: a. that the state fishing entities in their -ctivities liire operating pre-eminently as Government units with the purpose of increasin~ the people's fishery by means of their functions of advice and support to the marketing of the products of the people's fishery; b. That in order to let the state fishing entities to achieve the best success, with referenee to the provisions of the Minister of Agriculture's Decree N0607/Kpts/Urn/9/1976 on th('~ fishing itLanes, it deemed that the fishing vessels owned by state entities need a par ticul .. r regulation; Bearing in mind: 1.The Government Decree N°64 of 1957, on the trliinsfer of a part of the central Government's jurisdiction in the matter of sea fishery, forestry and rubber plliintations to the local Governments; 2. The Minister of Agriculture's Decree NOC1/Kpts/Um/1/1975, on the preservation of the riches in the fish resources of Indonesia; 3. The Minister of Agriculture's Decree N°02/Kpts/Um/1/1975 on the protection of the riches in the fish resources in the waters of Irian Jaya; 4. The w.Qnister of Agriculture's Decree N06I7/Kpts/Um/9/1976 0, the fishing lanes; Enacts: I Provision: The fishing vessels owned by state entities are exempted from the provisions on the fishing lanes enacted with the Minister of Agriculture's Decree N0607/Kpts/Um/9/1976 on the fishihg lanes.
