'l'he Volta River l){lve]opweut Act, 1961 (Act 46) as amended Act 46 by the Volta River Development Act, 1961 (Amendment) Decree, amcnded· 1968 (N,L.C.D. 268) is hereby further amended by the substitution for section 3 thereof of the following new section; "Constltu- 3. (1) The Authority shall consist of a Chairman, X~~~fJ!;: the Chief Executive avpointed under section 5 of this Act and six other persons of whom one, who shall have had experience in fi.nancial matters m.ay be appointed as Finance Member, and two shall be appointed to represent major consumers of the elec­ trical power to be generated by the Authority. · (2) Subjei::t to section 5 of this Act, the Chair­ man and other members of the Authority shall be · appointed by the President acting in accordance with the advice of the ];'rime Minister. Act 338 Repeal, Volta River Development (Anwndntent) Act, 1970 (3) At every meeting of the Authority at which he is present, the Chairman shall preside and in his absence a me1nlier tllected by the mt.mb~rs- pres~nt from among themselves shall preside." 2.
