Regulation 2 has effect to prescribe (a) Charge A of the wastewater charges in the 2009 Law, and (b) Rate l and Rate 2 specified in the Schedule to the 2009 Law for the purposes of calculating Charge C under that Law. Amendments to the 2009 Law. a Order in Council No. VII of 2008; as amended by Order in Council No. VIII of 201 0; Recueil d'Ordonnances Tome XXXIII, p. 38; Ordinance No. IV of 2011 ; No. XLIII of 2013; No. XLIII of 2014; No. IV of 201 6; and No. IX of 2016. 1 2. The 2009 Law is amended by substituting, in the Schedule to that Law, for the amount or rate set out in column 2 of the table below, the amount or rate set out in the corresponding entry in column 3 of the table below Interpretation. 3. (l) In these Regulations "the 2009 Law" means the Wastewater Charges (Guernsey) Law, b 2009 , and "the commencement date" means the date specified in regulation 7 for the commencement of these Regulations. Transitional provisions. 4. (1) This regulation applies to any written account served by the Board under section 8 of the 2009 Law which concerns both (a) an amount of metered water supplied by the Board to a metered property before the commencement date, and (b) an amount of metered water so supplied on or after the commencement date. (2) In calculating Charge C of the 2009 Law (under section 5(l) (a) of that Law) for the purposes of a written account to wich this regulation applies, the Board must apply (a) fomier Rate l in relation to the proportion of metered water estimated to be supplied to the metered property before the commencement date, and (b) current Rate l in relation to the proportion of metered water estimated to be supplied to the metered property on or after the commencement date. (3) In this regulation "current Rate l" means the rate specified as Rate 1 (for Charge C) in column 3 of the table in regulation 2, 3 "former Rate 1" means the the rate specified as Rate l (for Charge C) in column 2 of the table in regulation 2, "metered property" has the meaning given by section 18(l) of the 2009 Law, and "metered water" has the meaning given by section l 8(l ) of the 2009 Law. Revocation. s. The Wastewater Charges (Guernsey) (Amendment) Regulations, d ? are revoked.2016' d G.S.I. No. 63 of 2016. 4 Citation. 6. These Regulations may be cited as the Wastewater Charges (Guernsey) Regulations, 2017. Commencement. 7. TheseRegulationscomeintoforceonthelscJanuary,2018.
