(1) I n t h i s Order, except where t h e context otherwise r equ i re s , t h e expression "the Committee" means t h e S t a t e s Committee f o r Hor t i cu l tu re and any o t h e r express ions have t h e same meanings a s i n t h e Import and Export (P lant Health) Ordinance, 1982. ( 2 ) Any reference i n t h i s Order t o a n y o t h e r enactment s h a l l , except where t h e context otherwise r equ i re s , be construed a s inc luding a reference t o t h a t enactment as amended, repealed o r replaced, extended o r app l i ed by o r under any o t h e r enactment inc luding t h i s Order, 3. The 1nterpreta . t ion (Guernsey) Law, 1948 (b ) , s h a l l apply t o t h e i n t e r p r e t a t i o n of t h i s Order a s it a p p l i e s t o t h e i n t e r p r e t a t i o n of an enactment, 4. This Order may be c i t e d a s t h e Ornithogalum (Control of Importation) Order, 1982, 5. This Order s h a l l come i n t o f o r c e on t h e f i r s t day of January, n ine teen hundred and e igh ty th ree .
