In Schedule 3 Part I, paragraph 1, to the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (England and Wales) Regulations 2000[3] after the words "as amended by Commission Decision 2000/542/EC (OJ No. L231, 13.9.00, p. 12)" there shall be added the following "and Commission Decision 2000/651/EC (OJ No. L272, 25.10.00, p. 46)". Hayman Minister of State (Lords) Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food 27th October 2000 EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Regulations) These Regulations amend Schedule 3 to the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (England and Wales) Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/1673 as amended) so as to implement the requirements of Commission Decision 2000/651/EC amending for the second time Decision 2000/528/EC concerning certain protection measures relating to Classical Swine Fever in the United Kingdom (OJ No. L272, 25.10.00, p. 46). The main effect of the Decision is to remove restrictions on the export of pigs and porcine semen, ova and embryos from Essex.
