[LEGAL NOTICE No. 81] STATE LANDS ACT (CAP. 132) State Land Leases and License (Amendment) Regulations 2009 INexercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 41 of the State Lands Act (Cap. 132), I hereby make these regulations Citation 1. This regulation may be cited as the State Land Leases and License (Amendment) Regulations 2009. Regulation J1 Amended 2. Regulation II (2) of the State Land Leases andLicense Regulation 1980 is amended by inserting a new proviso "Provided a notice is servedin accordancewiththeabove sub regulation (2) and no reply from the lessee norany reference for determination by arbitration has been made within three (3) months commencing on the date of the service of the notice, the rent payable under the lease shall as from the date the notice is served be payable at the ratestipulated in thenotice of reassessment,butwithoutprejudice to a further reassessment of the rent in accordance with the regulation"."
