LEGAL NOTICE No. 351 of 1968 Regulations Issued Pursuant to. the Stnlc Forest and Private ,Forests Conservation Proclamatfon of.1965 I. Issuing Authority These Regu1ations ·are· issued · by the Minister or Agriculture pursuant to authority vested in him by Article 7(k) of the State Forest :Proclamation .No. 225 of 1965 and 6(g),of the.Private.Forests Conservation Pro clamation No, 226 of 1965. 2. S1,ort Title These Regulation~ rpay be cited as the "Trad,,· o[ Saw Lo~" and Veneer Log~ R~gulations; 1968", 3. Definitions In the~e Regulations unless the context o!herwiSti requires, the words: "forest", "forest trees", "forest pro• duct,'.'. ''.Minister,"· "Minir,try," ~ "person" and "wildlife" shall have the meaning · as set forth in Article 3 of the State Forest Proclamation, 1965. 4. Report Every person operating a sawmill, veneer mill, ply wood factory, or any plant processing forest 'products, whether from a i!late . forest or private · forest ' ~hall an• nually hut not later than thirty ( 30) days after the 3Uth of Sene of each year, submit to the Ministry a report which s!tall include all information as to: (I) the ownership of th'e plant; ( 2) the location, capacity· ·ahd · mechanical desctiptbn of the plant; and The report shall he 11ubmitted in three ( 3) copies and in the form attached hereto as Annex. 5. Penal Any person required to. submit a report under Ariti~ cle 4 above and failing to submit such report within the time and in the form ,prescribed shell be guilty of an or. fence and shall upon conviction be punished in accord· nnC'C with the provisions of the Penal Code, 6. Eff <'ctive Date. These Regulat>ions shall enter into force on the date of their publication in the ·Negarit Ga:reta.
