Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as “Convention of the Migratory Species of Wild Animals Ratification Proclamation No. 634/2009”. 2. Ratification of the Convention The Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals signed on the 23 rd June of 1979 at Bonn, Germany, is hereby ratified. 3. Power of implementation The Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority is hereby empowered to undertake all acts necessary to the implementation of the agreement in cooperation with concerned Federal and Regional Government Organs and non-governmental organizations as well as communities. 4. Effective Date This Proclamation shall enter into force up on the date of publication in the Federal Negarit Gazeta.
