AN ACT TO FURTHER AMEND THE TITLE BY REGIStRA TION ACT, CHAP. 56:50. (Gazetted 16th February, 1995.) BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Dominica as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as the TITLE BY REGISTRATION (AMENDMENT) ACT 1994. Shorttitle. 2. In this Act the Title by Registration Act is referred to as "the Interpretation. Act". Ch. 56:50. 102 1994 TITLE BY REGISTRATION (AMENDMENT) ACT 17 Amendment of section 114ofthe Act. Repeal and replacement of section 117of the Act. Repeal of section 124 of the Act. Amendment of section 125of the Act. 3. Section 114 of the Act is amended by deleting the word "Any" at the commencementthereof and substituting therefor the following words: "Subject to the provisions of section 117, any". 4, Section 117 of the Act is repealed and replaced as folows: ''Effect of 117. (I) Where a caveat has been registration • d '1 h . d of caveat. registered, unti sue caveat IS remove no second caveat or any other dealing with the land embraced in the registeredcaveat shall be lawful and the Registrar of Titles shall refuse to receive or register the same, (2) Any entry inthepresentation book or registration contrary to subsection (I) is void and shall be struck off by the Registrar of Titles.". 5. Section 124 of the Act is repealed. 6. Section 125 of the Act is amended by deleting the word "The" at the commencement thereof and substituting therefor the following words: "Subject to the provisions of section 117, the".
