Supplies Control (Restricted Imports and Exports) Order, 2003 (S.R.O. No. 14 of 2003)

SUPPLIES CONTROL (RESTRICTED IMPORTS AND EXPORTS) COMMONWEALTH OF DOMINICA MADE by the Minister under section 4( 1)of the Supplies Control Act, (Chap. 20:01). WHEREAS it is provided in section 4(1) of the Supplies Control Act that the Minister may by Order (a) prohibit absolutely the importation or exportation of goods of any class or description from or into any country; (b) prohibit the importation or exportation of goods of any class or description except under the author ity of a licence issued by the Controller; (c) control the prices at which goods of any class or description may be sold whether by wholesale or retail; AND WHEREAS the Minister desires to prohibit the importation of the goods set out in Schedules I and II to this Order except under the authority of a licence issued by the Controller; NOW THEREFORE, I, OSBORNE RIVIERE, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Marketing do order as follows SUPPLIES CONTROL (RESTRICTED IMPORTS AND EXPORTS) ORDER, 2003. A person who contravenes section 3, 4 or 5 commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a penalty of one thQusand dollars and twelve months imprisonment. 8. The Supplies Control (Restricted Imports and Exports~ Order 1998 is repealed.
