2000 SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT ACT 5 CORPORATION(AMENDMENT) 13 COMMONWEALTHOFDOMINICA ACT NO 5 OF 2000 I assent (Sgd.) V. L. Shaw President 30th August, 2000. AN ACT TO AMEND THE SOLID WASTE MANAGE MENT CORPORATION ACT. 1996 (ACT NO. 17 OF 1996) (Gazetted 7th September. 2000.) BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Dominica as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as the SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT CORPORATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2000. Short title. 2000 SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT ACT. CORPORATION(AMENDMENT) Interpretation. Act No. 17 of 1996. Amendment of section 14of the Act. 2. In this Act the Solid Waste Management Corporation Act, 1996 is referred to as "the Act". 3. Section 14 of the Act is amended by inserting the follow ing as subsection (5): "(5). Notwithstanding subsection (1), a visitor who is a diplomat, a person on official government business or a child under the age of twelve years, is exempt from the imposition of the environmental levy."
