Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Annulling the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Agricultural Tax Order of the President of the People’s Republic of China No. 46 The Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress on Annulling the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Agricultural Tax, adopted at the 19th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China on December 29, 2005, is hereby promulgated. Hu Jintao President of the People’s Republic of China December 29, 2005 Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress on Annulling the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Agricultural Tax (Adopted at the 19th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People’s Congress on December 29, 2005) At its 19th Meeting, the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People’s Congress made the following decision: The Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Agricultural Tax, adopted at the 96th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the First National People’s Congress on June 3, 1958, shall be annulled as of January 1, 2006.
