Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 2020 NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 25/20 Shops' Closing Regulations (Amendment) under the Shops' Closing Act (O.C. 2020-061) (Filed April 6, 2020) Under the authority of section 10 of the Shops' Closing Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations. Dated at St. John’s, April 6, 2020. Elizabeth Day Clerk of the Executive Council REGULATIONS Analysis 1. S.2 Amdt. Exempt shops CNLR 1115/96 as amended 1. (1) Section 2 of the Shops' Closing Regulations is amended by renumbering it as subsection 2(1), deleting the word "and" at the end of paragraph (m), deleting the period at the end of paragraph (n) and substituting a semi-colon and the word "and" and by adding immediately after paragraph (n) the following: (o) retail shops that provide services essential to the life, health or personal safety of individuals and animals including (i) food, (ii) pharmaceutical products, medicine and medical devices, (iii) personal hygiene products, https://www.assembly.nl.ca/legislation/sr/annualregs/2020/nr200025.htm 1/2 19/4/2020 NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 25/20 (iv) cleaning products, (v) baby and child products, (vi) gas stations, (vii) computer and cellphone service and repair, (viii) electronic and office supplies, (ix) hardware supplies, and (x) pet and animal supplies.
