Definitions Définitions 2 The following definitions apply in this Regulation. 2 Les définitions qui suivent s’appliquent au présent règlement. “Act” means the Fish and Wildlife Act. (Loi) “qualified technician” means a qualified technician appointed by the Minister under section 114.1 of the Act. (technicien qualifié) « Loi » La Loi sur le poisson et la faune. (Act) « technicien qualifié » Technicien qualifié nommé par le Ministre en vertu de l’article 114.1 de la Loi. (quali‐ fied technician) Things prescribed Choses prescrites 3 Tools or other implements are things prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 114.1(1)(e) of the Act. 3 Les outils et tout autre matériel sont des choses pres‐ crites pour les fins de l’alinéa 114.1(1)e) de la Loi. Procedure to be used Procédés à utiliser et à suivre 4(1) The procedure to be used by a qualified techni‐ cian in the analysis or examination of a portion of meat, tissue or body fluid of any species of wildlife or fish shall be one or more of the following: 4(1) Lors de l’analyse ou de l’examen d’un prélève‐ ment de chair, de tissu ou de sécrétion d’une espèce d’animal de la faune ou de poisson, un technicien quali‐ fié utilise et suit l’un ou plusieurs des procédés suivants : (a) Mitochondrial DNA Sequencing; a) le séquençage de l’ADN mitochondrial; (b) DNA Genotyping; or b) le génotypage de l’ADN; (c) Gender Typing of Mammals using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). c) la détermination du sexe des mammifères par ré‐ action en chaîne de la polymérase (RCP). 4(2) The procedure to be used by a qualified techni‐ cian in the examination or analysis of a firearm, ammu‐ nition or tool or other implement shall be the Compari‐ son Microscopic Analysis. 2012-95 4(2) Lors de l’examen d’armes à feu, de munitions, d’outils ou d’autre matériel, un technicien qualifié utilise et suit comme procédé l’analyse microscopique compa‐ rative. 2012-95 Repeal Abrogation 5 New Brunswick Regulation 84-1 under the Fish and Wildlife Act is repealed. 5 Le Règlement du Nouveau-Brunswick 84-1 établi en vertu de la Loi sur le poisson et la faune est abrogé. 2005-138 Loi sur le poisson et la faune F-14.1 2 N.B.
