(Consolidated up to 96/2003) ALBERTA REGULATION 413/83 Forest and Prairie Protection Act FIRE CONTROL ZONE REGULATION 1 Fire Control Zones outlined on the map of Alberta marked Schedule "A" are hereby established as follows for the purposes of closure orders under section 14 and fire control orders under section 21 of the Forest and Prairie Protection Act: (a) Zone No. 1 Commencing at the intersection of Highway No. 6 with the north boundary of Waterton Lake National Park; thence northerly along Highway No. 6 to its intersection with Highway No. 3; thence westerly along Highway No. 3 to its intersection with the Alberta-British Columbia boundary; thence southerly along the said provincial boundary to its intersection with the said north boundary of Waterton Lake National Park; thence easterly along the said north boundary to the point of commencement. (b) Zone No. 2 Commencing at the intersection of Highway No. 3 with Highway No. 2; thence northerly along Highway No. 2 to its intersection with Secondary Road No. 533 at Nanton; thence westerly along Secondary Road No. 533 to its intersection with a local road in section 15 of township 16, range 29, west of the 4th meridian; thence westerly along the said local road to its intersection with Highway No. 22; thence southerly along Highway No. 22 to its intersection with Secondary Road No. 532; thence southwesterly along Secondary Road No. 532 to its intersection with the Livingstone Range height of land; thence southerly along the said height of land to its intersection with Highway No. 3 near Burmis; thence easterly along Highway No. 3 to the point of commencement. (c) Zone No. 3 Commencing at the intersection of Highway No. 3 with the Livingstone Range height of land near Burmis; thence northerly along the said height of land to its intersection with Secondary Road No 532; thence northeasterly along Secondary Road No. 532 to its intersection with Highway No. 22; thence northerly along Highway No. 22 to its intersection with Highway No. 1; thence westerly along Highway No. 1 to its intersection with the east boundary of the Banff National Park; thence southerly along the Banff National Park boundary to its intersection with the Alberta-British Columbia boundary; thence southerly along the said provincial boundary to its intersection with Highway No. 3; thence easterly along Highway No. 3 to the point of commencement.
