Statutory Instrument No. 101 o f 2019 WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AND NATIONAL PARKS ACT (Cap. 38:01) WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AND NATIONAL PARKS (OPEN SEASON HUNTING DECLARATION) ORDER, 2019 (Published on 28th August, 2019) ARRANGEMENT OF PARAGRAPHS PARAGRAPH 1. Citation 2. Declaration of open season IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred on the Minister of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism by section 36 of the Wildlife Conservation and National Parks Act, the following Order is hereby made — 1. This Order may be cited as the Wildlife Conservation and National Parks Citation (Open Season Hunting Declaration) Order, 2019. 2. (1) The period beginning 3rd September, 2019 to 30th November, 2019 Declaration of is declared open season in all Controlled Hunting Areas except in CT16, op^se^on CT18, NE1 and all Controlled Hunting Areas under lease by private sector or community trusts. (2) The period beginning 3rd September, 2019 to 31st January, 2020 is declared open season in Controlled Hunting Areas CT16, CT18 and NE1 for hunting elephants only.
