No. 106 of2012 FISHERIES RESOURCES (JURISDICTION AND CONSERVATION) ACT (CHAPTER 244) FISHERIES RESOURCES (JURISDICTION AND CONSERVA TION) (DECLARATION OF PROTECTED AREAS) (HIGH CAY & SURROUNDING WATERS) ORDER, 2012 The Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Fisheries Resources (Jurisdiction and Conservation) Act, makes the following Order 1. Citation and duration. (1) This Order may be cited as the Fisheries Resources (Juris diction and Conservation) (Declaration of Protected Areas) (High Cay and Surrounding Waters) Order, 2012 . (2) This Order shall come into force on the 1" day of December, 2012 , and shall expire on the 281h day of February, 2013 . 2. High Cay and surrounding waters declared protected areas. Page - 2 The cay, known as ' High Cay' and its surrounding waters, located to the south of Andros Town and to the north of Bowen's Sound, Central Andros, and on the western side of the Tongue of the Ocean and enclosed to the north by latitude 24° 40'N, to the east by lon gitude 77" 40 .8'W, to the south by latitude 24° 37.8'N, and to the west by longitude 77° 44'W are hereby declared to be protected areas. 3. Dates of closure to all fishing activities. The cay, known as 'High Cay' and its surrounding waters as described in paragraph 2 are closed to all fish ing activities from the I st day of December, 2012 to the 281h day of February, 2013.
