MAPN0.6A MAPNO.U B.R. 35/91 THE BERMl.i"DA NATIONAL PARKS ACT 1986 SECTIONS 3 Ai'ID 4 Ai.'-i'D FffiST SCHEDULE NATIONAL PARKS PROTECTED AREA AL'v!ENDMENT NOTICE 1991 WHEREAS The Minister of the Environment ("the Minister") has caused amendments to soecitied Protected Areas described in the First Schedule of the said Act, to be prepared and as are set out in the Schedule, hereto k"'l'D WHEREAS the Minister has deemed it expedient to exercise in relation to the aforesaid First Schedule the powers to amend the same conferred upon her by section 3(4) of the Bermuda National Parks Act 1986; Ai.'ID WHEREAS the Minister has given an opportunity for repre sentations to be made in accordance with section4(1) of the aforesaid Act and such representations as have been received have been duly considered by her; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister by the said section 3( 4) of the Bermuda National Parks Act 1986 and all other powers her hereunto ennbling, tho following Notice is hereby given: L This Notice may be cited as the National Parks Protected Areas Notice 1991. 2. The several provisions of the First Schedule of the Bermuda National Parks Act 1986 are HEREBY A.1'\-IE~'DED to the extent and in the manner respectively specified in the schedule hereto. THE SCHEDULE CLASS A- PROTECTED AREA· NATURE RESERVES SPITTAL POND NATURE RESERVE Smith's Parish Addition of that area shown on the Map 6A annexed hereto amounting to 0.380 hectares. W ALSINGHA.1.'1 MARINE RESERVE Hamilton and St. George's Parish<:s Addition ofthatareaincludingforeshore, mangroves,seabed, seagrasses, reefs and seawater as shown on the May 11 annexed hereto amounting in area to 27. 75 hectares. CLASS B - PROTECTED AREAS - PARKLAND MAPN0.1.5A HOG BAY PARK Sandys Parish MAPN0.33A MA.PNO."lA Addition of the cross-hatched area shown on May 15A annexed hereto amounting to ll.73 hectares. AVOCADO LODGE P.~ Devonshire and Pembroke Parishes Adjustment of the boundaries of Avocado Lodge Park by the deletion of the area shown black on the Map No. 33A annexed hereto amountinl!;in area to 36 square metres and the addition of the area shown cross hatched on the said plan between the proposed carriageways of a new highway at Crow Lane amounting in area to 223 square metres situate partly in Devonshire and partly in Pembroke Parishes.
