TANKS; IMPROVRMF.NT (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCR, 148& Ordinance No, W of 19U AN ORDINANCE further to amend the TankJ lmprovenwit A.ct, 1939 WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend tho Tanks Improvement Act, 1939 (Ben. Act XV of 1939), for the purpo~s hereinafter appearing; Now, THEREFOR.£, in pursuance of the Proclamation of the 24th March, 1982, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the President is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance : 1, Short title.--This Ordinance may be called the Tanks Improvement (Amendment) OrdJnance, 1986. 2. Amendment of section 2, Ben. Act XV ol 1939.-In the Tanks Improvement Act, 1939 (Ben. Act XV of 1939), hereinafter referred to as the as.id Act, in section 2(2), for the words "Magistrate-in-charge of a subdivision of a district" the words "Upazila Nirbahi Olticer" shall be substituted. l. -nt ot llC<limlo g ..a \l, ll<ol. Act XV ol 1939~1• the said Act, In section 17, for the words "six and one quarter", wherever occuring, the word "tifteen'' shall be iubstituted. 5. Amendment of !le'fflon 18, Derr. Act XV of 1939,-In the said Act. in section 18(4), for the words "six and a quarter" the word ''fifteen" shall be .rubstituted. 6. Amendment of seaion ,j!!I~ Bed. Act XV OI 1939.-In the said Act, in ,section 35, for the words "One hundted Taka" the words "five hundred taka" shall be substiluted, I:)!J;AJ:A; T,,. 12th January, 1986.
