O Finan cial Sta te men t and Budg etary Prop osa ls. (lath Februar y, 2011). Co mme nce ment. E:\ACTED by the Parliament of Barbados as follow s: I. This Act may be cited as the Environmental Levy (Validation Short t it lc. and Repeal) Act. 20 11. 2 Validation. Cap 85 Cap 70 Repeal of Cap. 70 ENVIRONMENTAL LEVY (VALIDATION AND REPEAL) ACT,20II-2 2. Notwithstanding sections 3(2) and 5 of the Provision of Collection of Taxes Act, the levies purportedly imposed and collected under the Environmental Levy Act, during the period 3rd day of September, 2008 to the date ofcommencement ofthisAct are deemed to have been validly imposed and collected. 3. The Environmental Levy Act is repealed with effect from the Ist day of December, 2010.
