No. 66/2008 Authorised Version as at 27 March 2013 1 Objective The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe infringement penalties for infringement offences under the Impounding of Livestock Act 1994. 2 Authorising provision These Regulations are made under section 34 of the Impounding of Livestock Act 1994. 3 Infringement penalties For the purpose of Division 2 of Part 5A of the Impounding of Livestock Act 1994, the infringement penalty prescribed for an offence— (a) against section 25(e) is 2 penalty units; and (b) against section 25(g) is 2 penalty units; and (c) against section 25A is 2 penalty units; and (d) against section 25B is 4 penalty units. ═══════════════ Authorised by the Chief Parliamentary Counsel S.R. No. 66/2008 Impounding of Livestock Regulations 2008 2 ENDNOTES 1. General Information The Impounding of Livestock Regulations 2008, S.R. No. 66/2008 were made on 24 June 2008 by the Administrator of the State of Victoria as the Governor's Deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council under section 34 of the Impounding of Livestock Act 1994, No. 89/1994 and came into operation on 24 June 2008. The Impounding of Livestock Regulations 2008 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 24 June 2018 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).
