Part 3A Notification of control areas 8A Purpose of pt 3A The purpose of this part is to notify control areas for equine influenza and state the animals to which each control area applies. 8B Notification of control areas—Act, s 18 (1) For section 18(1) of the Act, each of the following is a control area for equine influenza— (a) the area shown as control area A on the map in the schedule; s 8C 4 s 9 Exotic Diseases in Animals (Equine Influenza) Notice 2007 (b) the area shown as control area B on the map in the schedule. (2) The exact location of the boundaries of control area A and control area B is held in digital electronic form by the department. (3) The information held in digital electronic form can be reduced or enlarged to show the details of the boundaries. (4) Maps showing the exact location of the boundaries can be accessed, free of charge, on the department’s website. Editor’s note— The department’s website address is <www.dpi.qld.gov.au>. 8C Animals to which control areas apply—Act, s 18(2) Each control area applies to all animals of the family Equidae.
