MEDLA R.ELATlONS DEPARTMENT "The knowledge of all things is possible" 191"April 2020 NOTICE TO All LOCAL FISHERS Under the Emergency Powers (COVID-19 Border Control) Regulations 2020 which came into effect on 9/4120 issued by His Excellency The Governor. the following directions are given 10 the fishing community of Anguilla and persons should govern thcn"elvcs accordingly. Lkcnsed Fishers and Amnesty for unliccnsc-d Fishers All fishers that have pots or o ther fishing apparatus m sea will be given a oncti mc opportunity as set out below fo r the recovery or safe stowage of those pots or other fishing apparatus. The grace period does NOT allow any fishing to take place and is confined tO recovery and safe stowage only. Any fish recovered in this period arc exempt and are 110110 be considered as: caught in contravention of this directive. • All fishers Island Harbour and Shoal Bay East will have from 6 am to 5pm on Tuesday 2 1/4120 to carry out the recovery and safe stowage of pots or other fishing apparatus. • All fishers Sandy Ground_.Crocus Bay. Meads Bay and \Vest End Bay will have from 6am to 5pm on Wednesday 22/4f20 to carry out the recovery and safe stowage of pots or other fishing apparatus. • All fishe rs Blowing Point &Cove will have from 6am to 5pm on Thursday 23/4f20 to carry out the recovery and safe stowage of pol~ or other fishing apparatus.
