ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA SOCIAL PROTECTION (AMENDMENT) ACT 2022 No. 13 of 2022 AN ACT to amend the Social Protection Act 2020, No. 22 of 2020 ENACTED by the Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda as follows-

    1. Short Title This Act may be cited as the Social Protection (Amendment) Act, 2022.

  5. 2 — Interpretation

    2. Interpretation In this Act – “principal Act” means the Social Protection Act 2020, No. 22 of 2020.

  6. 3 — Amendment of section 39 – Composition of the Commission

    3. Amendment of section 39 – Composition of the Commission Section 39 of the principal Act is amended by repealing subsection (4) thereof and replacing it as follows – “(4) Cabinet shall appoint one of the Commissioners to be Chairperson of the Commission.” No. 13 of 2022 5 Social Protection (Amendment) Act 2022 Passed the House of Representatives on Passed the Senate on the 13th day of The 31st day of May, 2022.
