Decision No 3919/QD-BNN-TCTS of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on designation and announcement of List of sea ports for seafood - carrying foreign ships to land (Phase I)

Article 1. Designate and annouce for the first time in 2019 the List of ports for foreign fishing vessels and vessels transporting fish and fishery products from fishing operations to enter Vietnam for importing, temporarily importing, re-exporting and transiting fish and fishery products originated from fishing operations through Vietnamese territory, except for container ships carrying fish and fishery products (List is promulgated under this Decision).

Article 2. That consignments of fish and fishery products originated from foreign fishing vessels have been loaded into ships or on the way of delivery for importing, temporarily importing, re-exporting and transiting fish and fishery products originated from fishing operations through Vietnamese territory before the effective date of this Decision is allowed to enter the ports under contracts and agreements but no more than 90 days from the effective date of this Decision.

Article 3. The Decision takes into effect from the date of signing.

Article 4. The Chief of the Ministry Office, the Director of the Department of Animal Health, the Director General of the Directorate of Fisheries, Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of coastal cities and provinces; heads of relevant units under Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and organizations and individuals are responsible for the implementation of this Decision./.
