Jornal da República RESOLUÇÃO DO GOVERNO N.' 66/2025 de 22 de Outubro APROVAA ADESÃO DA REPÚBLICA DEMOCRÁTICA DE TIMOR-LESTE AO ACORDO SOBRE O ESTABELECIMENTO DO CENTRO DE COORDENAÇÃO DAASEAN PARA ASAÚDE ANIMALE ZOONOSES (ACCAHZ) Considerando que a República Democrática de Timor-Leste reiterou, desde a sua independência, o seu compromisso com o multilateralismo, a integração regional e a consolidação de relações de cooperação com os seus parceiros do Sudeste Asiático; Atendendo que o último relatório da ASEAN sublinha a significativa e bem-sucedida implementação do Roteiro para a adesão plena de Timor-Leste à Organização, aprovado em maio de 2023, durante a 42.º Cimeira da ASEAN em Labuan Bajo, o que permite concluir pela prontidão do País para assumir a qualidade de Membro; Tendo presente que, na 46.º Cimeira da ASEAN, realizada na Malásia, em maio de 2025, os Líderes decidiram admitir formalmente Timor-Leste como 11.º Membro da ASEAN, a ser oficializado na 47.º Cimeira da ASEAN, a ter lugar na Malásia, no dia 26 de outubro de 2025: Considerando que a prevenção, o controlo e a erradicação de doenças animais transfronteiriças e zoonoses constituem uma prioridade comum dos Estados-Membros da ASEAN, com impacto direto na saúde pública, na segurança alimentar e no desenvolvimento económico; Tendo em consideração que, o Acordo sobre o Estabelecimento do Centro de Coordenação da ASEAN para a Saúde Animal e Zoonoses (ACCAHZ) cria uma plataforma técnica e institucional permanente para reforçar a cooperação regional na área da saúde animal, em consonância com a abordagem integrada “Uma Só Saúde” (“One Health”); Considerando que o Centro presta assistência técnica aos Estados-Membros, coordena atividades de investigação, promove a harmonização de políticas sanitárias regionais, apoia o desenvolvimento de sistemas de alerta precoce e contribui para o fortalecimento de capacidades nacionais e regionais em matéria de vigilância epidemiológica e resposta a emergências sanitárias, Assim, O Governo resolve, nos termos da alínea f) do n.º 1 do artigo 115.º conjugado com a alínea d) do artigo 116.º da Constituição da República, o seguinte: 1.
