SCHEDULE Definition 1. In this Schedule "the Regulations" means the regulations published by Government Notice No. R 1064 of 23 May 1980, as amended by Government Notices Nos. Amendment of regulation 31 of the Regulations 2. Regulation 31 of the Regulations is hereby amended (a) by the substitution of the expression "plant :"with the expression "plant; and" in paragraph (i) (viii) of subregulation (4); and (b) by the insertion of the following paragraph immediately after paragraph (i) in subregulation (4): 4 No.27947 GOVERNMENT GAZETTE, 2 SEPTEMBER 2005 "0') in the case of a rooted green-grafted plant in a container the graft union of a greengrafted plant in a container shall be firmly callused right around; the internodal diameter of the scions of such a plant shall be at least 1,5 mm; each one-year-old plant, when dormant, shall have at least one mature shoot with a minimum length of 80 mm; each plant, when not dormant, which has stood over for one season after grafting, shall have at least one green shoot with a minimum length of 80 mm; the rootstock of such a plant shall have a length of at least IOOmm, with an internodal diameter of at least 1,5 mm and be well-matured over the entire length thereof; and each plant shall have at least three well-developed roots that are evenly spread around the base thereof". Amendment of regulation 35 of the Regulations 3. Regulation 35 of the Regulations is hereby amended (a) By the insertion of ",(3)" in paragraph (c) of subregulation (1). Substitution of Table 4 of the Regulations 4. The table in Annexure A is hereby substituted for Table 4 of the Regulations.
