No. R. 1210 STAATSKOERANT, 17 DESEMBER 2010 GOVERNMENT NOTICE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH NO.338?? 3 17 December 2010 FOODSTUFFS, COSMETICS AND DISINFECTANTS ACT, 1972 (ACT NO. 54 OF 1972) AMENDMENT TO REGULATIONS RELATING TO FOODS FOR INFANTS, YOUNG CHILDREN AND CHILDREN The Minister of Health has, in terms of section 15 (1) of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972 (Act No. 54 of 1972), made the regulations in the Schedule. SCHEDULE 1. Definitions In this Schedule, "the Regulations" means the regulations pUblished under Government Notice No. R. 1130 of 8 June 1984, as amended by Government Notice No. R. 2542 of 15 November 1985. 2. Amendment of regulation 2 of the Regulations RegUlation 2 of the regulations is hereby amended by the substitution for item (iv) of paragraph (c)(aa) of the following item "(iv) more than 0,02 mg/kg of lead in ready-to-use form of such / formula or more than 0,5 mg/kg of lead in the dehydrated concentrated form of such formula." ~ AIDS HELPLINE 0800-01-23-22
