GOVERNMENT NOTICE NO. 209 published on 15/06/2012 THE WILDLIFE CONSERVATION ACT (CAP.283) ORDER (Made under section 27) THE WILDLIFE CONSERVATION (CLOSED SEASON) ORDER, 2012 Citation and commencement 1. This Order may be cited as the Wildlife Conservation (Closed Season) Order, 2012 and shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 2013. Declaration of Closed Season 2. The period between the first day of January and the thirtieth day of June in each year is hereby declared to be a closed season during which the hunting, killing or capture of any animal or class of animals, is prohibited throughout Mainland Tanzania. Revocation of GN. No. 266 of 1974 3. The Wildlife Conservation (Closed Season) Order, 1974 is hereby revoked. Dar es Salaam, KHAMIS S.
