The Pisheriee Reguicncno, 1987, ere amended in regulation 19 as follows (a) in sub-regulation (5) (a), by repealing the word "during the closed season" and substituting therefor the words "except during the open season." (b) insub-regulation(6)by (i) repealing the definition of the words "closed season"; (ii) inserting after the definition of "hcmard in the berried state", thefollowing definition: "open season" means the period or periods within any year thatis determined as the "OPCIl season" by the Minister by Notice published in the Official Gazette.
