No.9 FISHERIES (TEST SEINING LIGHT FISHING OPERATION) ORDER 2014 IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by sections 18 of the Fisheries Act 1998, I, ALFRED GHIRO,MP, Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources do hereby make the following Orders 1. These Orders may be cited as the Fisheries (Test Seining Light Fishing Operation) Order 2014 and shall commence on date of publication in the Gazette. 2. Subject to the licence requirement of section 16 of the Act, approval is hereby granted to Solfish Limited to carry out test fishing operation using Seine Light Fishing method, within Solomon Islands Water. 3. Approval granted under paragraph 2 above, shall apply to 8 seine Light fishing vessels during the 2014 calendar year and may be reviewed upon expiry of this Order. 4.
