1. Citation and Commencement This Order may be cited as Customs and Excise (Import Duty)(Amendment) Order 2023, and commences on the date of publication in the Gazette.
2. Amendment to the First Schedule This Order amends the First Schedule to the Customs and Excise Act (Cap. 121) (“First Schedule”).
3. Amendment of duty rates of Plastics and Articles thereof; rubber and articles thereof Section VII Chapter 39 of the First Schedule is amended for tariff items “3903.1100”, “3915.1000”, “3915.2000”, “3915.9000”, “3917.3120”, “3917.3220”, “3917.3920”, “3918.1000”, “3918.9000”, “3920.1010”, “3920.1020”, “3920.1090”, “3920.2010”, “3920.2090”, “3920.3000”, “3920.4310”, “3920.4390”, “3920.4900”, “3921.1110”, “3921.1190”, “3921.1210”, “3921.1290”, “3921.1900”, “3921.9090”, “3923.1010”, “3923.1090”, “3923.2100”, “3923.2900”, “3923.3000”, “3923.4000”, “3923.5000”, “3923.9090”, “3924.1000”, “3924.9000”, by deleting “$1.40 per kg” and substituting “$1.90 per kg”.
