Papua New Guinea • National Gazette ·PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY NOTICE OF PROHIBITION OF TAKING SEDENTARY ORGANISMS • l. Tom Horik, Chairman of the National Fisheries Board, by virtue of the powers vested in the Board under Section 30 of the Fisheries Management Act. 1998 -and all other powers me enabling and upon recommendation of the Managing Director, hereby prohibit (a) The taking of all Sedentary Organisms at night by the use of underwater lights; and (h) the taking of Trochus Shell (Trochus spp) and Beche-de-mer (all species) by the use of Scuba and Hookah gear. . • • Dated this 2nd day of April, 2002.
