(4) In ~ase any pPrson is likely to die as a result of thEtconsumption 0f any cor,t::?.~\inate'i Zoodstuit y or in case he dies, or in casp he suf i ers an irrspc.1rable physical dallisge,or is likely to du so, the person who produces or sells or distributes such foodstuff shall be punish8d with a fine ranging betwePn Rs 10,000 and hs,25,000, 8nd with imprisonm~nt for a terw,·not exoaeding tllree j·P.ars,and he s~1all also pay J~mpeusation ranging between Rs 25 9 000 anrl Rs 100Jroo to the ne8rest relative of the pers~n ctifeoten. by ::rncll conti.:Ht.inated foodstuff.
