Amendment of Section 49(2) of the Principal Law 6. Citation 3 A LAW TO AMEND THE URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT LAW. No.2 of 2013 EKITI STATE OF NIGERIA Commencement { } ENACTED BY EKITI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY AS FOLLOWS: Amendment of Title. 1. The Title is hereby amended by adding “Ekiti State” before “Urban Title and Regional Planning and Development Law” to read: “Ekiti State Urban and Regional Planning Development (Amendment) Law.” Amendment of Section 46 (2) (a) of the Principal Law 2. Section 46(2) (a) of the Principal Law is hereby amended by Board substituting the phrase “full time Chairman” with “Part-time of the Chairman” and by substituting the phrase “Town Planning or related Agency discipline “with physical planning and/or building profession to now read: Section 46(2) (a): A part time Chairman, who shall be a holder of a recognized qualification and professional registration in Physical Planning and/or Building profession, shall be the head of the Renewal agency. 4 Amendment of Section 46(2) (b) of the Principal Law 3. Section 46(2) (b) of the Principal Law is hereby amended by Board substituting the phrase “other full” with “Part time” to now read: of the Section 46(2) (b): Two part-time members. Agency. Amendment of Section 46(2) (e) of the Principal Law 4. Section 46(2) (e) of the Principal Law is hereby amended by Board substituting the words “an Executive Secretary” with the words “a of the General Manager” to now read as follows: Agency Section 46(2) (e): There shall be a General Manager for the Renewal Agency… Amendment of Section 49(2) of the Principal Law 5. Section 49(2) of the Principal Law is hereby amended by substituting Tenure the word “of” with “at” to now read as follows: Of Office Section 49(2): “Any public officer appointed to be official member shall hold office as such at the pleasure of the Governor. Citation. Citation 6. This Law may be cited as the Ekiti State Urban and Regional Planning and Development Law, 2013.
